As a Director of Product Innovation at Passport, you will drive some of our most ambitious product initiatives. You will organize and inspire cross-functional teams to bring those initiatives to life. You’ll partner closely with a variety of stakeholders across engineering, sales, product, and service delivery to ensure customer and client feedback, market intelligence, and institutional knowledge are analyzed and infused into innovation planning. Serving as an influencer, a leader, and an individual contributor, you will be instrumental in helping Passport grow meaningful sources of new revenue through your efforts.
You know how to take complex concepts, build a strategy, and work across teams to execute on that strategy. You are not afraid of changes along the way - you have a chameleon-like ability to adapt to your surroundings and still figure out how to drive the strategy forward. You obsess over the details. You blend technical ability with business acumen. While you are not necessarily a software engineer, you may have tinkered and are familiar with development methodologies. You are effective at connecting long-term vision to near-term objectives. Simply put, you have it all together - people enjoy working with you, your team respects you, your clients are regularly impressed by you, and you can effectively manage multiple constituents.
You are incredibly organized. Nothing slips through the cracks when you’re running a show. You measure everything. You are inquisitive, and you know how to listen and incorporate new knowledge into your strategy. You know how to work collaboratively across teams in order to produce the best outputs. Above all else, you are also an excellent communicator, both written and verbal, and you understand how to effectively convey ideas to various stakeholders across the organization.
You will have the opportunity to wear several hats, and you should be comfortable learning new things and taking on new responsibilities. You’ll spearhead strategic initiatives. You won’t hesitate to roll up your sleeves and do the dirty work to turn your concepts into reality.
